History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Emerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has achieved small success as a Tailor.

History: Born in the north to a Bather, Grumbar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
