History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Weaver, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: She got into the Servant business at a young age. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She struck the Servant job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and further expansion of business

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty tan coat over it, and is pretty ugly. His hair, while still mostly blonde, has prominent grey streaks. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: Carrie lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Knight work with an outfit from a few towns over. Knight work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Knight responsibilities is difficult.
