History: The child of a Fisher, who enjoyed hunting, Barakas was taken on many hunting expeditions. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help
