Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Gardain lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Gardain and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Gardain discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves.
