History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Paelias grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her childhood dream was to be a Baker, but she was a colossal failure. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.
