History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She misses her glory days as an athlete. She does not mind her job, but it is boring in comparison. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: She was born in a small mountains village. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. After a long history of fighting, Beast and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Mortician hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Torbera embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her mother was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. After a long history of fighting, Torbera and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
