History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Shava is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Shava lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. In her 17th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
