When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Seamstress hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Description: This woman is very fat, and is typically in her Crown-heir uniform. She has purple hair. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Crown-heir work with an outfit from a few towns over. Crown-heir work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Vonbin alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She's also a talented Farmer, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the west. He worked as a nervous Marshal and found it very stressful. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.
