History: She was born in the north. Beast was born on a far northern mountains where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Ploughman. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty green coat over it. His chestnut hair is heavily combed to the left. His eyes are gold and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Valafar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Description: A woman of a pale complexion, she wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. Her chestnut hair, when down, is lengthy. Her eyes are brown and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Nissa is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Nissa reached her early adolescence her Gnome mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Tabaxi, and stands approximately 5'8". She typically wears pastel cloth garments or leather armor, and her gloved hand is found clutching a falchion. She wears a deerstalker hat to cover her moderate length black fur. Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Jasmine was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Mumpena isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his mother's many stories. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is his passion; and balancing his hectic life and new junk dealer responsibilities is difficult
