Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. She is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. She haggles over everything, upselling her goods and buying cheap. She is persistent in everything.

History: Merla was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Bard, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Bard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Merla was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Merla's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, illithids burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she loathes her own lifestyle

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her childhood dream was to be a Knight, but she was a colossal failure. She tends to her Barrister job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he is greedy

Cloak is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

Through the years after Cloak was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north.
