When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age his mother died while driving off some gnolls. His father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in mace use. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Quarethon never married again. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
