One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Description: 5'2" and muscular, this northern woman wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She keeps her yellow fur in a flapper bob. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, River grew up listening to her father's many stories. She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Vaina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Her druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Half-Elven companion (her 'brother'). She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.
