History: Kathra hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In her 10th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Kathra alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents enrolled him in a Adept school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
