History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. History: Jocelyn hails from a village terrorized by drow. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, drow burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying south to reunite his family. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Jocelyn was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gorfel is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Gorfel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Gorfel alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted.
