Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: He is an attractive man, lean and moderately muscular. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His moppish red hair is in a traditional bowl cut. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Balimaar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Balimaar lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he wants to get laid

Description: A middle-aged woman, she is wearing a long, violet, dusty cloak, and is pretty ugly. Her tied-back hair is white. Her ears are large.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Mary embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A freak accident while working with her Ruler mother left her crippled. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down

Description: She wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a sai, but if one is not available she will default to her spear. She is physically well-built. Her white hair is long and unkept. She has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is a great chef.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

Motivation: He is greedy; and he has passion for adventuring and risk

Description: She is of a modest build and height, but she carries herself more imposing than she is. She likes to wear brown tank tops with tan skirt. Her brown hair is drawn into a tight pony tail with a rose scrunchie. Her amber eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Mary's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: Mary was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Motivation: She wants to get laid; and she's looking for her big break
