History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Body Guard arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Paela isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Halfling unity. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Paela grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Paela. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Ortegar reached his early adolescence his Halfling mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. Being a Stylist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
