History: He was raised in a plains tribe. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Bella is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lance grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She uses divination through singing.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Ahinar took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up flail and armor she uses now. After a long history of fighting, Ahinar and her spouse have recently divorced.
