History: Gifted from a young age, Carrie studied abroad. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Half-Elven conditions. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many orcs want him driven away.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion.
