History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. After coming to the age of reason, Avelina took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Avelina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

She found a children's book about a Half-Elf Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Nithther fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: She was born in the south. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Assassin hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
