History: He was born in the east. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Nirgel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Nalaed hails from a village terrorized by drow. She worked as a nervous Scribe and found it very stressful. She now owns her own business.

History: Born in the south to a Shoemaker, Elama learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to be a servant again
