History: Born in the east his family was never financially stable. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.
