Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Herbalist. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Reddlepop was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
