Description: With white face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he is generally well dressed albeit a few years behind the times. His tied-back hair is silver. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: He is lean but muscular and wears suspenders and blue workpants. His shirt is brown, and he wears a heavy blue leather apron most of the time. His golden hair is long and unkept. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Lamlis embodies much of what other species detest in the Elves. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: He has a crush on the local Bricklayer.

Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. Her crest is bronze and very short. Her eyes are likewise red. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Jaxi was born with her mother's beautiful face. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jaxi fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: Krimp is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. When triggered he is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: He was born into a rich family. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 5'11" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a brown vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His black leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his brown boots flare out at the collars. His silver hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Dean was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to protect his home
