History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Birel was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Orla never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shipwright they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Performer, and he later adopted a second daughter.
