History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When Elegant reached her early adolescence her Tabaxi father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Shax took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up club and armor she uses now. In her journeys she found a malevolent artifact.
