History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered writing. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Grom was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Grom decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with.
