History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To end his boredom; and he is greedy

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. Her father taught her the rudiments of the Marshal arts, while her mother instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
