History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Shamil's homeland. Shamil decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born into a rich family. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.
