She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Vani was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

History: Vicky lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her first spouse was a Cartwright, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of drow may trigger it at times.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and a deep hatred of drow
