She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Veloptima took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up halberd and armor she uses now. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Biri wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Druid, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Biri grew up listening to her mother's many stories. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dragonborn conditions. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Margery was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Margery abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
