History: Hethress was born the youngest of three triplets. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Edge grew up listening to her father's many stories. Through the years after Edge was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Edge's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

Motivation: She's looking for her big break; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Jelenneth was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: Bertram wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Ranger, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He takes great joy in being the best Guard in town.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. A gifted student he started as a Shipwright, but he got bored and became a Guard. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.
