Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. A true patriot, Gilbert would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and revenge

Personality: She trusts no one. She is not readily capable for forgiveness and her ire never leaves her. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Geva and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality.

Description: A middle-aged man, he usually wears his green robe and has his falchion always slung over his shoulder, and is pretty ugly. His scarlet crest is unkempt and raggedy. His red eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food she seems plenty friendly. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: She comes from a rich western family. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Adventurer. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her writing with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: He wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. His fur, while still mostly gray, has prominent grey streaks. His eyes are copper and beady.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Soapmaker. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Soapmaker and found it very stressful. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.
