History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. His parents enrolled him in a Rogue school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Kellen was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Kellen never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

History: Gynk lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has decided she is irredeemable

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Pennie was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Sorcerer, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Sorcerer in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Halfling Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story.
