History: Pearl was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Gifted from a young age, Rrath studied abroad. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Rrath grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Rrath. After months of barely getting by, Rrath managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.
