History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Hadarai has worked very hard to control his curse. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. Bella is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Kaladan was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kaladan's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: His divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Tiefling artifacts is his passion.
