Through the years after Gunnloda was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Kathra hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He got into the Carpenter business at a young age. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and further expansion of business

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ruler. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To be a Shepherd again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Mara was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and she has money and likes to spend it

His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes brigands are coming to abduct people. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nuraval grew up listening to his father's many stories. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
