His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. A fanatic, his devotion to his small selection of gods is unquestionable. He claims to be doing their will and will base all his actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a Butcher, his father struggled to pay the bills. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Kyle was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Barber for the past few years.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Cumpen embodies much of what other species detest in the Gnomes. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of her oldest sister, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Gnomes became a terror of the countryside. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
