History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dilettante. He has worked as a Dilettante like his father before him.

History: Shivering lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help.

History: Fonkin was born the youngest of three triplets. Fonkin was born on a far southern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Miller. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: She is a hateful person. She taunts others and blames them for her problems. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. After coming to the age of reason, Oolah took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and doesn't want to be a miner and was forced into it by her family

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Mordai has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Spice Merchant, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Spice Merchant they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Adventurer, and he later adopted a second son.
