Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hugh was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. History: The child of a Guard, who enjoyed hunting, Gynnie was taken on many hunting expeditions. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
