History: He was born in the south, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Healer for the past few years.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, Bhevek has worked very hard to control his curse. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Vadania liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
