Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. The war was a terrible time for her, and Veloptima does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Veloptima was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Veloptima reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has worked as a Sailor like her father before her.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Kiirith decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: She is irritable and easily angered. She is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use her stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. Her first spouse was a Unemployed, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.
