History: Syllin hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact.
