Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Carlin isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Gnomish unity. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She found a children's book about a Gnome Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Ovina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her mother took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ovina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
