He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Being a Carter kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the east were limited. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
