During her travels, Malquis and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Malquis discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Malquis fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Lûga grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He found a children's book about a Half-Orc Barbarian who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
