History: Gardain lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barber work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barber work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Like her father and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Healer. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born into a rich family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Beggar they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Baker, and he later adopted a second son.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and wants to raise his children well
