History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. History: Umpen was born with his mother's beautiful face. He found a children's book about a Gnome Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Guard arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. A gifted student he started as a Sellsword, but he got bored and became a Guard. He has worked as a Guard like his mother before him.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Ilga was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ilga's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Cask lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents were killed by gnolls in a raid when she was still a young child. The gnolls captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers.
