History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

History: He got into the Miner business at a young age. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He's also a talented Banker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Varis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Through the years after Bulzo was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Bulzo's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Being a Soapmaker kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
