Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He wears brown leather gloves, a brown jacket, and tight pants. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. He wears an eyepatch.
Personality: Gomory is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.
History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. Umpen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.
Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.
History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
Motivation: She is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she dresses like a well dressed Miller does, and is pretty ugly. She has moderate length black crest. Her red eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Miller. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by goblins. Chassath was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the goblins.
Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and she wants revenge against goblins

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Rangrim is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.
History: Born in the north to a Guard, Rangrim learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Guard. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.
History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the north. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.
