Personality: His voice, at times compared to that of a Nymph, lambasts those who consider themselves "civilized" with snide, belittling remarks; the subtle growl he speaks with growing louder in doing so, one can find it most pronounced, despite the otherwise natural purity of his tone. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Through the years after Umpen was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Umpen's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Ostracized due to the druidic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Halflings became a terror of the countryside. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Some 10 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Shautha never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

Motivation: Marry her sister to traveling adventurers; and to unite with her sister
